Amazon Kindle Unlimited Now In India At Rs 199 Per Month
While this service allows you to access unlimited number of books, you can only store up to 10 titles in the cloud.
Amazon has finally brought its Kindle Unlimited service to India with price starting from Rs 199 per month.
However, Amazon is offering the first month of subscription at Rs 99 until Sept 30 after which the price would be Rs 199 per month.
It is worth noting that India is the second country after Japan in Asia to get the Amazon Kindle Unlimited Service and also the tenth country globally.
This service, especially keeping in mind its cost is definitely a game changer as users will be gaining access to unlimited books across different genres for a very reasonable price.
However, it is also important to note that this service would make sense depending on the collection of books that are available in India on Amazon Kindle as of now.
Also, while it is being said the service would allow access for unlimited number of books to read, it is also worth noting that users can only store up to 10 books in the cloud at any given point of time.

The Kindle Unlimited readers will also have an option to choose from exclusive Kindle titles and get access to other feature like Whispersync, Popular Highlights, X-Ray, and customer reviews.
Apart from Rs 199 per month plan, users can also avail the membership for 6 months at Rs 166.50 per month while an annual subscription can be availed at Rs 149.42 per month.
Upon announcing the service and the pricing details, it looks like the Internet went on a crazy ride with people tweeting about the service.
Whoa! Kindle Unlimited is here. ₹199 is a pretty good deal if the library is decent. ₹99 for the first month. Signing up right away.

Looking at the hype and response Kindle Unlimited Service is getting on the social media and the Internet, the service might stand a chance to succeed.
However, there are a few speculations that not every single book would be available to read for Rs 199 per month. For instance, if you are looking out to read Game of Thrones, you may have to pay an extra Rs 167 and also reading Elon Musk biography would cost you an additional Rs 439.
But, at the same time, it's still in a very nascent stage in India and we may have to wait and watch how good the service would be in the coming days.
