Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G E455 Goes On Sale For Rs 10430

Goes shoulder to shoulder with the Moto G3.

 

Micromax has pushed out its Moto G competitor called the Canvas Nitro 4G E455. The smartphone has not been officially launched just yet, but like all Micromax handsets, is already available for purchase online at Indiatimes Shopping.

The smartphone comes with a spec sheet that is almost similar to the Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen). In the looks department, it resembles your average Android smartphone with a plastic back and a OnePlus-like matte finish given to it.

Coming down to the hardware specifications:

  • We get a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • Inside, there is a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory that is expandable
  • We get a 13 MP primary camera with an LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing unit
  • Connectivity options include a dual-SIM 4G LTE set up with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0
  • The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and is powered by a 2500 mAh battery

Clearly, Micromax’s offering is pretty much similar to the Motorola Moto G. However, what makes them different, is the price tag.The Canvas Nitro 4G E455 comes with an MRP of Rs. 12,499 and the MOP of Rs. 10,999. This pegs it slightly below the Moto G3 that currently retails at Rs 11,999 (1GB RAM) and a lot lower than the 2 GB RAM version at Rs 13,000.
