Google Hangouts For iOS Gets A New Material Design

The new version 4.0 of the Hangouts app for iOS is said to improve its performance.

 

Hangouts has recently updated its iOS app to version 4.0 which is said to bring in revamped user interface and better performance.

Detailing on this, the new update is said to bring in a new menu button in the contact list and a button for quickly starting new conversations.

Also, the chat bubbles get a refreshed look and so does the video chat.

Apart from these new material design based update, Hangouts v 4.0 is said to have the ability to attach and send multiple photos at the same time.

It seems that the dialler too has been refreshed to create an overall better experience.

Meanwhile, Hangouts recently crossed 1 Billion downloads on Google Play Store.

However, it can noted that the new update is yet to arrive on Android and is currently available only for iPhone and iPad.
