Google Adds First Ever Vertical Street View Into Maps

Google partnered with legendary climbers to scale the Yosemite's El Capitan in Google Maps Street View.

 

As we all know Google is known for rolling out some or the other new feature almost every single day.

One such recent feature is that Google now lets users virtually climb a real mountain.

If you are wondering how would it be possible, well the answer is through Street View of Google Maps.

Yes, Google has now come up with first ever vertical Street View feature.

Firstly, Google has come up with this vertical Street View for The Nose and a portion of the Dawn Wall routes for scaling El Capitan which is a vertical rock formation in Yosemite National Park, California, USA.

Adding more in to this, Google has partnered with legendary climbers Lynn Hill, Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell to add Yosemite Valley's El Capitan to its Street View.

Google has also come up with this video showing the making of the same and also it seems that this new first-ever virtual mountain climb in Street View is quite breathtaking.
