InFocus Launches Its M530 4G Budget Smartphone In India

Adds to the variety of 4G smartphones that have flooded the market lately.

 

Now that the US based smartphone maker InFocus has set foot in the Indian market, it makes sense to expand its portfolio and spread out to deliver better variety to its customers.

In order to do just that, the company has announced its fourth smartphone after the M330 and the M350 to add some variety to its existing portfolio. It has launched its InFocus M530 a budget 4G offering that will deliver 4G to the masses.

Coming to the specs, its the standard stuff, and going by the numbers, we can see that InFocus has Xiaomi in its cross hairs. This can be observed from the hardware specifications shown below:

  • We get a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display
  • Inside there is a MediaTek MT6595, 2.0 GHz, octa-core chipset coupled with 2 GB of RAM
  • The handset sports 16 GB of internal storage and the handset also includes an SD card slot for expansion
  • The camera department consists of a 13 MP rear module with an LED flash and a 13 MP one for selfies
  • We get the usual connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the handset supports both 3G and 4G networks (dual SIM) in India
  • Powering this budget monster is a 3100 mAh battery unit

The handset runs Android KitKat and also features FM Radio. It will be available in violet and white colours, exclusively on Snapdeal starting the 26th of June (today) for Rs 10,999.
