Coolpad Launches Dazen 1 Black Variant On Snapdeal

The smartphone is currently the only sub Rs 6,000 device with 2 GB RAM and 4G LTE support in India.

 

Chinese company Coolpad has launched the black edition of its handset Dazen 1 on June 22 exclusively on Snapdeal.

With a price tag of Rs 5,999, the device comes with 2 GB RAM and 4G LTE connectivity which seems to be its highlight as this is the only mobile in India giving such features for sub Rs 6,000 price range.

However, it is worth noting that Coolpad had initially launched the Dazen 1 in snow white colour option at Rs 6,999 after which it has been reduced now to Rs 5,999 to mark the sale of 5 million handsets worldwide.

Also, it seems that the company has brought in the black color Dazen 1 after many customers requested for the same.

Coming to the technical specs of the Dazen 1, it runs on a 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage.

The camera section includes an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5 MP front facing snapper.

The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 and powered by a 2,500 mAh battery.

The device is priced at Rs 1,000 less than the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
