Free WiFi Service At Qutub Minar, Red Fort And Humanyun's Tomb
WiFi will be free for first 30 minutes after which tourists will have to buy vouchers.
Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has finally decided to bring free WiFi service to tourist places like Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun's Tomb in New Delhi.
The WiFi facility will be free for first 30 minutes and post that usage it is being said that the browsing charges will be applicable and tourists will have to buy vouchers for the same.
This new move by the ASI seems to be in collaboration with Rail Tel Corporation at Red Fort while it is a tie-up with MTNL at Qutub Minar and Humayun's tomb.
It has also been confirmed that the services can be availed within a 200-metre radius of the monument with no provision to carry out any construction or installation within the protected monument.
However, there still seems to be no confirmation regarding the number and location of hotspots to be installed at each site.
It is also being said that a similar move shall be taken at Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, Sarnath and Sun temple Konark.
So, now, if you ever plan to visit these heritage sites and immediately want to share the photos and videos on social networking websites, there is no need to worry as you shall be having free internet.
It definitely is an Incredible India!
