Jaguar Developing A Car With A Sixth Sense That Reads Your Mind

Brainwaves are monitored through the hands via sensor embedded in the steering wheel.

With advancing technology day by day, machines are standing today in par with most of the human beings.

One such brilliant advancement is the car with a 'sixth sense' by Jaguar.

The British premium auto-maker Jaguar which is owned by Tata Motors since June 2008 is working on a car that can read your mind by using advanced technology to monitor the driver's heart rate, respiration and levels of brain activity and identify driver stress, fatigue and lack of concentration.

Going in depth, Jaguar's UK-based researchers seem to have been looking at innovations that would reduce the amount of time the driver's eyes are off the road while driving.

The project called the 'MindSense' which the company is working on to enable its cars read the human mind actually indicates if the driver is beginning to daydream or feeling sleepy when at the steering wheel.

While this method does seem close to the sensors being attached to a headband to monitor brainwaves, Jaguar's method is somewhat more similar to that which is already in use by NASA - detecting brainwaves through the hands via sensors embedded in the steering wheel.
