Micromax Officially Launches Unite 3 In India At Rs 6,999

The smartphone with unique 'Swipe' feature was listed on the company's official website a month ago.

 

After listing the Unite 3 on its official website, Micromax has officially launched the smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs 6,999.

The smartphone is now available on many of the leading ecommerce websites apart from the company website.

With 4.7 inch display screen, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Media Tek quad-core processor paired with a 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

However, the USP of the smartphone is the ability to translate and transliterate text in Indian languages like Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali and Marathi easily.

For this purpose, the smartphone comes with a unique keyboard that uses the popular Swipe technology to help users translate a message from English to the language of choice and vice versa with a simple swipe.

Apart from this, the Micromax Unite 3 comes with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, 2 MP front facing camera, 2,000 mAh battery which the company claims to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time and connectivity options like 3G, dual SIM, WiFi and Bluetooth.

To conclude, even though the Unite 3 comes with a unique Swipe feature, the smartphone still faces competition from the Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2.
