Microsoft May Soon Come Up With A Light Weight Email App Called 'Flow'
The app might be to Outlook what Qik is to Skype.
It looks like Microsoft is on the works developing a new smartphone app called Flow.
Flow, which is said to be a light weight email application works similar to a chat app allowing users to have fast, fluid, natural conversations with no subject lines, salutations or signatures.
The app which is rumoured to debut on iPhone, might work as an accompaniment for its Outlook Inbox app.
The information is still not yet officially announced by the company, but was tweeted by @h0x0d who found a description of the app on a download page marked "Microsoft Confidential".

While Microsoft launched Skype Qik last year which is a light weight video messaging service, we can pretty well predict that Flow might be to Outlook what Qik is to Skype.
However, we feel that Flow might be faster to use than Outlook email and would provide Microsoft an entry point in the overcrowded chat app market.
Interestingly, this looks like a good step by Microsoft after its recent email efforts being not so great on Apple's operating system.
