Celkon Launches Campus A359 Budget Smartphone

The Android smartphone with Rs 2,350 price tag comes with 3.5 inch screen display.

 

After launching many budget phones, Indian smartphone company Celkon has recently come up with another pocket friendly smartphone under its Campus series dubbed as the Campus A359.

Priced at Rs 2,350, the smartphone is for now exclusively available online via Homeshop18.

With dual-SIM connectivity and 3G support, the Campus A359 is arguable one of India's cheapest Android KitKat based smartphones.

However, with two good features, the smartphone's display screen is just 3.5 inch which we feel not much acceptable among the youth who are on the lookout of bigger screen mobiles.

Yet, for the price and considering the target users of the smartphone, the 3.5 inch display might be more than enough along with 1 GHz single core Spreadtrum processur coupled with 256 MB of RAM.

Surprisingly, the in-built storage of 512 MB of the latest Celkon smartphone is too low looking at the regular updates applications keep getting which as well increases their weight.

Coming to the camera specs, the rear camera comes with 2 MP capacity and LED flash while there is no secondary front facing camera which we feel is a big drawback in this present selfie generation.

However, the smartphone packs a 1,200 mAh barttery and is available in Black and Blue colours.
