ASUS Introduces New ZE551ML, 4 GB RAM Zenfone 2 Variant In India

ASUS’s success in the Indian smartphone market has led to the birth of another Zenfone 2 variant. The Taiwanese electronics giant today announced the ZE551ML with a 1.8 GHz processor and 4 GB of RAM at a ground-breaking price tag.

The new Zenfone 2 variant fits in just before the bottom-end of the ZE551ML range. Meaning that we a configuration, which one ups the ZE551ML with a 1080p display, 1.8 GHz Z3560, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, NFC, Rs 14,999 with with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

The handset looks exactly like the rest of the lot but is indeed special, as ASUS has specially assembled the same for the Indian market.

Although it may seem like Xiaomi started a trend with the Mi 4i budget monster (HTC and Sony to follow suit), both the handsets fall in different price brackets and the same can be said about the performance figures.
