Micromax To Launch Its New Afforadable Smartphone Canvas Spark

The sub Rs 6,000 smartphone is expected to come equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection and run on Android Lollipop OS.

 

Micromax has come up with a new budget smartphone dubbed the Micromax Canvas Spark after immense promotion on social media.

Set to launch on April 21, it looks like the Indian mobile maker is planning to take over the likes of its competitors Xiaomi, Lenovo and Motorola in the budget phones segment.

Expected to be priced at around Rs 6,000 and sporting a 4.7 inch display screen, the new Canvas Spark is being promoted by the company via its Facebook page about the Corning Gorilla Glass protection that the phone is expected to come with.


Also, we are able to see similar promotional posts on Snapdeal's Facebook page too which reveals about the exclusive partnership between Micromax and Snapdeal in selling the phone. The Snapdeal post tells us that the Canvas Spark will be running on the latest Android Lollipop operating system.

While no much information has been revealed by both Micromax and Snapdeal, it is definitely a 3G smartphone which we can understand through another Facebook post by Snapdeal.


However, we can make a guess work that the smartphone would come equipped with some pretty decent features posing threats to Motorola’s Moto E 2nd Gen, Lenovo A6000 and Xiaomi Redmi 2.
