Domestic mobile maker Lava seems to be the latest entry to the family of companies rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Yes! The company is rolling out the latest Android update to its recently launched Iris X1 Grand which originally came with Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The company has claimed that the users should receive a notification informing them about the update when they connect to the Internet.
We suggest you to stay connected to a WiFi connection during the download of the Lollipop update as it weighs around 550MB in size.
Also, it is advisable to free some space before you begin the download.
The update seems to bring in improvised notification system, Kill Switch and improved security, support for multilingual, emoji input, search key, and improved accessibility features.
To remind you, the company had promised about the update during the launch of the mobile itself, i.e., in the month of January.
