Amazon Kindle Voyage eBook Reader To Be Launched In India Soon

The popular eBook reader will be available in two versions - WiFi only version and WiFi+3G version.

 

Though the device was introduced in September last year alongside the 7th Generation Kindle, the Kindle Voyage is finally being launched soon in India.

Also known as the thinnest Kindle till date, the two variants of the Voyage is priced at Rs.16,499 for the WiFi only version and Rs.20,449 for the WiFi + 3G version.

The device comes with a 300 pixels-per-inch display sporting the highest resolution, contrast and brightness seen on any of Amazon's e-readers so far.

The Kindle Voyage also comes with a new ambient light sensor which means that if you are reading something in the dark, the device will automatically adjust the brightness of the display.

It is also expected that the Voyage will come with a haptic actuator to deliver tactile feedback as you turn pages.

Just like other 3G Kindles, the Voyage 3G will also come with free 3G so that you can never have to lookout for WiFi connection to browse the Kindle store and download the books.
