Huawei To Launch Honor 6 Plus In India This Month

Plans to deliver a 4G smartphones at every price point.

 

Huawei is on a mission to bring 4 G to the masses indeed. While the Chinese telecommunications specialist is all geared up to launch its 4.5 G network in Europe, it foresees India to be a big market for the same. After announcing that its dual-lens, Honor 6 Plus would make it to European markets, the company also announced that it would be bringing the device to India as well.

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus is quite a mid-range beast as it offers a lot of horsepower and camera capabilities for the asking price that is expected to be pretty low.

President of Honor International Business, Dragon Yin, revealed that the company has big plans to introduce affordable 4 G smartphones to the Indian market by saying:

“With the launch of 4G in India, we are sure that we will be able to increase our market share by introducing affordable 4G smart phones in India. Our differential lies in our quality, our ability to innovate and each of our products is a result of extensive research and development. We are expecting that the Honor6 plus to take the market by storm.”

Huawei is already selling its Honor 6 smartphone in the Indian market along with other handsets such as the Honor 3C.

Keeping the 5.5 inch Full HD display and the HiSilicon Kirin 925 CPU (3GB RAM) aside, it is the dual 8 MP camera set up on the back that will grab everyone’s attention.

Of course it all depends on the pricing of the handset that is expected to retail exclusively on Flipkart. But for now there are no details on that front.

The company recently showed off its world’s first LTE-M smartband that makes IoT (Internet of Things) connected devices a lot more efficient such as connected thermostats and energy readers.
