Intex Aqua Speed Launched With Android KitKat; Upgradable To Lollipop

Targeting the budget mobile users who are the majority in India, Intex Technologies has come up with another budget smartphone dubbed as the Aqua Speed priced at Rs. 7,444.

Surprisingly, the phone which is exclusive available only on eBay India is being sold on the e-commerce website at just Rs.7,299.

Intex is also boasting about the abilitiy to upgrade the Android 4.4.2 OS which originally comes with the phone to the latest Lollipop 5.0.

Other specifications of the smartphone include: 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. It also has a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies.

The phone comes with a 4.5-inch display and looks like the Indian mobile manufacturer has given a unique look to the back panel of the Aqua Speed with a sand stone finish. This is definitely a great idea by the company as it makes the back of the phone resistant to smudges.

The phone is expected to be available in four colors - white, coffee, grey and black.
