Huawei Honor 6 Plus Can Now Be Purchased Online For 399 USD

While the hardware inside is not much to talk about, its the dual 8MP camera set up that every one is talking about.

 

While Huawei's Honor 6 was launched in India back in September, it was indeed the 6 Plus version that we were interested in. Well, it so happens that you can now purchase an Honor 6 Plus online and get it delivered right to your doorstep. The device was launched for the Chinese market only last year in December, but now it seems that 16 GB White version is up on sale via a third-party retailer who will ship the device globally.

As of now only the 16 GB White Honor 6 Plus can be purchased at retailer OPPOmart for 399 USD, which roughly translates to Rs 25,000 in Indian monies. While the smartphone packs in mid-range hardware with a Kirin 925 octa-core processor, what everyone will buy this smartphone for, is the 8 MP twin camera set up that supposedly delivers high quality imagery. In case you were wondering, the dual sensor set up delivers imagery up to 13 MP in resolution and some really quick auto focus times for a smartphone.

On the software side of things you will be treated to Android KitKat 4.4 with Huawei’s emotion UI to play around with. Whether the twin-camera set up is worth the price tag is up to buyers to decide as you can get the OnePlus One (with a faster processor) in India for a similar price tag. Only problem here, is that you have to bear up with the company’s invite system.
