Images Of A Mysterious Xiaomi Phablet Surface Online

While the company will be showcasing a couple of products at CES next year, there is a high probability that this would be one of them.

 

A mysterious looking MI branded phablet has leaked online. While it looks pretty similar to the Xiaomi Mi 4, there are a couple of differences that set the handset apart. More importantly, it seems rather odd that Xiaomi will be building the next iteration of the Mi 4 when the current smartphone is already running short of production requirements.

So could this be a the next Redmi Note? Well, it is the size of the device, that leads us to believe that the smartphone belongs to the phablet category. Of course visual cues are one thing, but this cannot be the next Note simply because it seems to be made out of metal and looks like a premium product thanks to those unbelievably thin bezels that run on the sides of the device.


Even a white version of the phablet device has surfaced online

Is this a bigger phablet version of the Mi 4? Well, rumours also deliver some more information about this smartphone. The device will supposedly come with 4G LTE bands, a Quad HD display along with a Snapdragon 805 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. Well, CES is just a week away so more information is bound to spring up as we near the announcement.
