Minuum 3.0 Update Brings Adaptive Themes To Android Lollipop Devices

While this may sound like Minuum’s biggest update yet, the company promises that there is a lot more coming shortly.

 

Minuum has been really busy in the past few months and today’s big 3.0 update for the Android app now tells us why. The new update adds a barrage of themes that Material Design fans have been waiting for and a few seasonal specials along with a host of improvements to the autocorrect and typing experience.

The devs at Minuum have made a couple of changes to the autocorrect system but more importantly, added a multilingual typing mode as well. While it is supposed to allow users to use multiple languages all at once, the devs via the blog post tell us, that not all language combinations may work as perfectly like with English and another single language. In short it’s wise to set English as your primary and then select just one secondary language to keep things accurate.

Next up we have new themes. There are Material Design themes, textured themes, Christmas themes, and special adaptive Lollipop themes that change colour depending on the app that you’re in. While this may sound like a good idea you will first need to have Android Lollipop installed on your device, for the adaptive themes to work.

Minuum also promises that Minuum for Android Wear will also be getting an update soon and that devices will be getting another update which will add some deep improvements with their algorithms.
