Google Begins Rolling Out The Play Store 5.1.11 Update
The update brings a full-size navigation drawer and makes changing payment modes easier
Google has begun rolling out an updated version of its Play Store numbered 5.1.11, which seems odd considering the slew of updates Android users just received. The company doesn't seem to want a breather following the roll-out of Android KitKat, and is furiously updating the last few bits to reflect its Material Design philosophy.
Android Police notes that the update brings a full-height navigation drawer to the Play Store apart from adding a few shadow effects. There's also a new my accounts page which lists all of your purchases in one place and makes it easier to change the mode of making payments.
The design changes bring the Play Store more in line with the rest of Google's services, improving consistency across the company's products. Moreover, the update is rolling out to devices with Android 5.0 Lollipop installed on them, but if you're a believer that Google is too slow, head over to the link to download the update.
