Delivers a well blended mix of fantasy, story-telling, Indian mythology and strategy based gameplay with interesting visuals.
Indian publisher Studio Dream Games has rolled out a brand new strategy game based on Indian mythology. The game has been wholly developed in India and delivers a story led, strategy based game that will certainly grab the attention of those who are into Indian mythology.
While the start of the game is very interesting, it does take some time to download all those extra files to help the get the game up and running. Unlike every other strategy game this one comes with an interesting story line that will clearly attract Indian users. The game play is pretty straightforward. You help rescue Sita from the evil Ravana by taking up the role of Aranya Kanda.
Progressing within the game is fairly simple if you are into strategy games that is. You warm up by starting off with two farming campaigns, followed by the Ocean War, First War of Lanka and lastly the epic battle with Meghnath.
The slides between levels have been sketched out pretty well and the same can be said about the level environments, which starts off with a rough pencil sketch fading into the a rendered environment. The game is rendered with a 2.5d isometric engine and looks flawless on the iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones and Android tablets.
All-in-all the game will appeal to the strategy gaming audience but could have been pulled off better minus the first two farming campaigns, which kind of breaks the flow of the game.
