Apple Rolls Out iOS 8.1.1 Update Aimed At The iPhone 4s And The iPad 2
Makes us wonder why everyone has to update their devices if the update is meant just for two.
Apple has rolled out another update after a number of other ones in the past. The new update has been pushed out to reach out to iPhone 4s (yes, people still buy it) and iPad 2 owners who have been facing performance issues with iOS 8 till now.
What we simply do not get is why every other device needs to be updated if the update is aimed at fixing bugs, increasing performance and stability on the iPhone 4s and the iPad 2. Our iPhone 5c unit in the office has also received the update notification and upon installing it (after clearing up some memory), we found nothing new.
The update as many are reporting is about 64 MB in size but was about 43 MB for the iPhone 5c so the it will vary according to your device.
