Price Brackets For The Upcoming Samsung GALAXY A3, A5 And A7 Surface

Seems like Samsung is a bit worried about the A7’s hardware capabilities; might bite into the Alpha’s sales.

 

Samsung indeed has a whole new range of GALAXY smartphones lined up that should be announced soon. The smartphones that fall in the mid-range segment are rumoured to come with some capable hardware and sport impressive design characteristics. But not much had been known about the handsets apart from some leaked images of the SM-A500F. Today, we finally have some news about the pricing of the entire range along with some snippets about the most expensive handset in the range, the GALAXY A7.

One look at the model names, (SM-A300, SM-A500, and SM-A700) and you can say for sure that the A7 (SM-A700) will be the better specd one out of the three. We have no clue whether it will be a smartphone or a tablet just yet, but SamMobile points out that the device will indeed be launched in select countries only. Moreover, all the models in the new range are expected to come with LTE connectivity.

This comes as news because the new range of handsets closely resemble the recently announced GALAXY Alpha smartphone. The A7 being the model with best specs could prove to be a deal breaker for Alpha customers which could be the reason why Samsung is a bit shy on launching it everywhere.

As for the price brackets of the new range, news is, that the SM-A300 will retail between 350 - 400 USD, the SM-A500 between 400 - 450 USD and the biggest one the SM-A700 will retail for 450 - 500 USD.

These are some interesting prices and more options for Samsung buyers looking for something new in the price range. The handsets also indicate that Samsung will indeed be departing from the GALAXY S3’s rounded pebble design as well, since the handsets launched after the GALAXY Alpha seem to squarer in shape.
