iPhone 6 Sales Are Soaring To New Heights; Hits 10 Million In A Week

Apple has released a press note thanking its millions of fans worldwide for standing helplessly in long queues in order to make the smartphone a sales success. The company has once again, managed to break previous first weekend sales records by delivering a hefty 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models worldwide.

It is pretty much clear that Apple wants to get the attention of many when it fans queue up in front of Apple retailers worldwide. Personally we would prefer an online pre-order only system to keep the crowds under control with fewer people going on leave to purchase the next iPhone.

What you should be keeping in mind while reading these figures is that Apple has smartly clubbed the sales figures of both iPhones this year. Normally you would have one single iPhone breaking sales records. This time around, we are yet to see actual sales figures about which iPhone 6 model sold more.

Still then, this is Apple and while we wait in India for our glimpse of the iPhone 6, we should also expect long-queues and some nasty brawls when the device goes on sale; something that is expected to happen soon as per our inside sources.
