OPPO N3 Leaks; Shows A Refreshed Design
Yes, it does pack in that swivelling camera as expected.
While OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming OPPO N1 phablet successor the OPPO N3, leakers seemed to found some some crystal clear renders of the device. The images as reported by GSMArena show a brand new design that looks a lot smaller than the previous gigantic N1.
Firstly, there is no way we can confirm for sure whether this is OPPO’s final design for the N3. But the source says their informer is pretty much credible, so here goes.
The images shows one thing that we already knew will be present on the successor of the OPPO N1. That would include the swivelling camera unit, a mechanism that OPPO has spent a lot of time researching for the original N1; and this seems to be an improved version of the same (with that massive bulge that it is located in) with a dual LED flash.
What is new and clearly visible (provided that this is the final design) is the refreshed design using just aluminium. It is quite a departure from the design that we have been seeing from OPPO lately and seems rather unique as well. The cylindrical extension that hides the camera mechanism also seems to have two speakers on both ends; OPPO could be gunning for premium music and camera functions from this Android smartphone indeed.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer had already begun teasing fans on social media last week and has been delivering subtle hints about how they would be reinventing the phone. With a design like this (even though we like it) we have some pretty mixed opinions about it for now. Whatever the final features and design may be, we will all know for sure when the company unveils its swivelling wonder sometime in Singapore in October as the latest teaser shows below.
