iPhone 6 Benchmark Scores And Specs Leak Out; Alleged Photo Samples Included
There will indeed not be much to look out for at this year’s Apple event now that almost every bit of the iPhone 6 has leaked out.
In just a few hours from now, the tech community will be glued to Apple’s live event. This time around, from the usual hordes of iOS fans, will be plenty of Android users as well; as they wait patiently to compare the company’s latest offering to the existing flagship droids that have already flooded the markets. Well but for those who simply can’t get enough, there is now out another round of leaks that gives us even more details compared to what China Mobile delivered this morning.
The leaks originate from a Weibo account belonging to a user named Rui Kee. The same leaker had earlier posted images of what he/she claimed to have was an actual 4.7 inch iPhone 6. This time around the leaker shows benchmarks and has even delivered a few photo samples from the iPhone 6 smartphone.
The benchmarks have been take with the benchmarking tool called Geekbench 3. While the iPad Air is clearly the benchmarking king for iOS devices with a Single Core score of 1476 and a Multi Core score of 2678, the rumoured iPhone 6 delivers a Single Core score of 1633 and a Multi Core score of 2920.
As for the specs, they are a bit different from what the China Mobile leak brought about with a 1.4 GHz dual-core CPU and again there is just 1 GB of RAM.

The camera is again shown to be a 8 MP one and from the samples shown below, there is a lot left to be desired in terms of performance. To put things into perspective, we have a sample of the LG G3 of the same scene shown as well where the G3 clearly takes the crown. Lastly, the protruding camera seems to be having an issue with with level applications all thanks to the iPhone 6 not being able to sit flat on its back.
Android fans will certainly be rejoicing as there indeed seems to be nothing new from Apple since the iPhone 5 apart from the screen size and processor bump. Whatever it may be we will know a few hours from now as Apple unveils the iPhone 6 along with the expected iWatch.
