Google Maps For Android Updated With Hindi Language Support
You can now get directions in Hindi.
Google has finally updated Google Maps app for Android by adding the Hindi language along with other minor bug fixes and updates. The search giant finally offers Hindi as a language option for both the app and voice navigation. Along with this those who have invested in an Android Wear smartwatch will get improved navigation notifications on their Android wear device.
After search obviously comes Maps and Google who already has the masses on-board thanks to it being the default Android maps app, is now also targeting HERE Maps. After going offline with maps a couple of months ago (well not entirely), the company is now adding multiple languages to get users over from offline-happy Nokia users.
The company recently introduced the previously Android exclusive, Photo Sphere feature to iOS, meaning that it is focusing on building its repository for Maps by hogging in more users from other smartphone ecosystems.
