Intex Launches Aqua Style Pro; An Entry-Level Smartphone For The South

Intex will indeed be focussing on South India’s smartphone market going forward.

 

Intex has just announced yet another entry-level smartphone for the masses called the Aqua Style Pro. The company hopes that their combination of hardware and software hits the sweet spot for its customers which they feel resides mostly in South India.

Intex has roped in Tollywood actress Anushka Shetty as their brand ambassador for the Aqua Style Pro in Andhra Pradesh for a whole year of promotions.

As for the Aqua Style Pro, it sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The handset sports 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. Also included in this entry-level handset is an 8 MP primary camera along with a 2 MP front-facing sensor for video calls and selfies.

The handset similar to others in the same category offered by other manufacturers also comes with dual SIM slots. The Aqua Style Pro is powered by a 1800 mAh battery and comes with Android version 4.4 KitKat. The handset will be available in black and white and is priced at Rs 6990.
