Acer Launches Aspire One D270 In India
Dual-core, Atom-based netbook costs approx Rs 17,300.
Taiwanese manufacturer Acer has launched the Aspire One D270 in India. The manufacturer claims that this is the first netbook based on Intel's Cedar Trail - the latest iteration of its Atom platform.
According to the press release, the laptop is powered by the Atom N2000 Series dual-core CPU. Multimedia performance is taken care of by the onboard Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 GPU. Other specs include a 10.1" LED-lit screen, 2 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet, VGA, and an HDMI port.
The D710 tips the scales at 1.4 kg, and is only 1" thick. Its lid will feature the textured droplet pattern, similar to the one seen on the Acer Aspire One Happy 2. Acer has priced the netbook at around Rs 17,300, and buyers will get to choose from black, blue, red, and white hues.
