Alan Wake Finally Released For The PC
Can be purchased for Rs 1500 via Steam.
Almost two
years after its Xbox 360 debut, Alan Wake has finally made it to the PCs. As reported earlier, the title is available only via Steam.
According to Remedy, the game has been tweaked to take full advantage of quad-core CPUs. It supports screens with aspect ratio of 4.3, 16:9, and 16:10. Additionally, the Finns have promised better graphics, 3D support, and gamepad compatibility. The title is available for $30 (approx Rs 1500), and its download size is under 8 GB. Those buying it before the 23rd will also get download access to the Collector's Edition. This includes developer commentary videos, an illustrated PDF, and 13 tracks composed by Poets of the Fall, Petri Alanko, and Old Gods of Asgard.
Before making a purchase though, make sure you have at least a dual-core 2 GHz Intel or 2.8 GHz AMD CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and a 512 MB DirectX 10 compatible graphics card.
