BlackBerry Z30 Gets Another Price Cut; Rs 30,000 After Cash Back
BlackBerry seems to be on a mission to empty its stockpile of last-generation handsets.

BlackBerry India has now reduced the price of its Z30 handset even further by dishing out a cash back offer for the same. The premium handset will now be available for Rs 30,000 after a minimum cash back of Rs 5,000 in exchange of your older handset.
The cash back would obviously depend on the condition of your old phone. Apart from that BlackBerry has not revealed which handsets would be eligible for the offer in terms of exchange. The details would be available at your nearest BlackBerry retailer.
Commenting on the new offer, Sameer Bhatia, Director – Distribution, BlackBerry India said, “Consumers are increasingly adopting smartphones with cutting edge technology for an unmatched experience at attractive price points. We have seen a phenomenal response to our initial promotional offer on BlackBerry Z10 and are confident that we will see similar take off on the upgrade offer on the 5 inch BlackBerry Z30.
"At a price of Rs 29,990, BlackBerry Z30 offers a combination of latest technology and style quotient in a single device at a compelling price point. The stylish five inch BlackBerry Z30 combining good looks and powerful features like longer battery life, provides a unique communications experience of BlackBerry 10. We are delighted to be able to bring it closer to our loyal users with this unique opportunity.”
The Z30 boasts of a high resolution 5-inch screen with a pixel density of 259ppi. At the heart of the device is a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset clocked at 1.7 GHz. On the software front, the phone runs the BlackBerry 10.2.1 platform, giving users access to the android app ecosystem.
The handset had seen a price-cut in March where the price dropped from Rs 39,990 to Rs 34,990. The offer stands for 60 days starting today. As for BlackBerry, the company seems to be all geared up for the Foxconn-made Z3 handset announcement, which is scheduled for the June 25.
