ICICI Bank Launches Its 'iMobile' Banking App For Windows Phone
Now transfer funds, pay bills and view your account details right from your Windows Phone 8 device.
ICICI Bank has launched its mobile banking application 'iMobile' for Windows Phone, bringing its services to all major smartphone platforms. The app is available for download on the Windows Phone Store, for devices running on Windows Phone 8 operating system.
"With this new app on Windows, our mobile banking application is now available on all major platforms including iOS, Android and Blackberry. It also introduces the next level of customer convenience by offering one touch access to important services on the dashboard of the app itself,” said Rajiv Sabharwal, Executive Director of ICICI Bank.
The iMobile app allows users to easily recharge their mobile/DTH subscriptions by selecting their favourite past recharge, thereby not having to enter all the details time and again. The other big feature is being able to call customer care from within the iMobile app itself.
Users will be able to transfer funds, pay bills and view information about their accounts, be it a savings account, current account, fixed and recurring deposits, credit cards, loans, demat and Public Provident Fund (PPF) account.
The launch of iMobile on Windows Phone comes soon after the debut of technology led innovations in the Indian banking sector. Touch Banking, Tab Banking, Facebook Banking and internet banking facilities that provide personalised views for individual customers are now becoming essential services banks must offer.
“Mobile banking is today one of the fastest growing channels in the country. Large number of our customers are today transacting through our digital channels,” added Sabharwal.
