Feels like a native Windows Phone app that should have been made by Microsoft.

 

There are a number of tool apps in the Windows Phone Store, but there is no app in the Store that can even come close to the experience of using Ccool Media’s #1 ToolKit. Give it a shot and you will be convinced that this app is the number one toolkit app in the Windows Phone Store.

Upon opening the app what the most striking aspect is the UI and smooth animations that has been achieved by the Windows Phone developers. From the font to the sorting of the tools by meter, time, converter and sound, the app feels like a native app that even Microsoft could not pull off.

Like a physical toolbox, all of the tools within the app are sorted in their own hubs and can even be pinned to your desktop if needed. Running a timer in the background is something else which needs a little attention as the app will exit entirely and will reset background apps when reopened. The only way to get around this is to minimize the app by hitting the Windows key which will keep the timer running in memory. Sadly, even though the tools can be pinned to the start page, they clearly aren’t dynamic in nature and will not display the world time but just the clock icon instead.

Despite this, #1 ToolKit is a brilliantly designed app, which even Microsoft could take inspiration from. We suggest you give it a shot as it does come in handy.
