Leaked Images Of GALAXY F Show A Faux-Metal Body
Cleaner design adds no value to the handset which is supposed to sell in the premium segment.
After drawing flak for the plastic body and dimple textured back case that Samsung offered for GALAXY S5, it looks like it has opted for a faux-metal finish for its next big launch, Galaxy F.
If the leaked images by GSMArena are anything to go by, the finish of the smartphone is similar to LG's G3,. The GALAXY F is a Quad HD version of the GALAXY S5 and is rumoured to be the latter's premium successor. Unlike the previously leaked images, Galaxy F this time sports a cleaner, sleeker looking body.
This goes to show that Samsung is listening to the consumer inputs and is trying to improve its flagship range. But apparently, the device seems to have a plastic back with a brushed-metal like finish. Everything else looks the same with the camera module and the heart rate monitor, which are separated unlike the previous leaked images which showed them grouped together.

We were expecting a metal-clad monster considering that this will be a premium offering from the Korean electronics giant. This makes us wonder, why can’t Samsung come up with a refreshed design? This is keeping in mind the millions of handsets that they sell every year and the profits that they make. More importantly we have no clue why Samsung thinks that it consumers want their next smartphone to look exactly like the previous one.

According to rumours the GALAXY F is expected to sport a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel) display and will be powered by the beefier Snapdragon 805 processor.
