Karbonn Launches Two Affordable Mobiles

Touchscreen phones are quite feature-rich.

 

Karbonn Mobiles has launched two low-cost feature-rich phones, the KT51 and KT60. While the first is a full touchscreen phone, the second is a touch and type type.

The KT51 sports a 2.4" 240x320 touchscreen with widgets support. With features such as camera and FM recording with a retractable antenna for clear reception, the company is targeting this phone at entertainment lovers who do not want to spend much. Some of its other features include support for Hindi, Bluetooth with A2DP, remote access of handset, Mobile Tracker, Auto Call Recorder, and several useful utilities.{C} This dual-band GSM phone, however, lacks EDGE support. It is quite lightweight at just 62 g and its 1500 mAh battery should last as long as the claimed 4 hours of talk time.

The second phone launched is the KT60, which uses touch and type input method. Sporting a 2.6" screen, this slim phone also has entertainment features such as camera, FM radio with recording, dual speakers, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It comes with support for expandable memory up to 8 GB. The battery capacity of 1400 mAh is sufficient for such a phone.

The Karbonn KT51 and KT60 are available at MRPs of Rs 2500 and Rs 2600 respectively.
