LG Teases Us With Optimus Vu
Will probably be revealed at MWC 2012 .
LG has published a video of an oddly-shaped Android device, the Optimus Vu. The gadget's 5" display flaunts pixel dimensions of 1024x768, with an unusual aspect ratio of 4:3.
According to a source, the Vu is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, and has 1 GB RAM. Other bells and whistles include an 8 MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a standard set of sensors. With my knowledge of Korean language at stake, I think the device will probably run Gingerbread out of the box, but early adopters won't have to wait long for the Ice Cream Sandwich update.
It is also being speculated that the handset will have a stylus, in order to compete with Samsung's GALAXY Note. Considering that the Mobile World Congress 2012 is a few weeks away, LG is unlikely to reveal much about the device till then.
