Oppo Announces The R6007, A Mini Version Of The Find 7

Basically a downsized mid-segmet Find 7 with watered-down hardware.

Oppo has followed it's recent launch of Oppo N1 Mini with the new R6007, which is basically a more affordable version of the Find 7 and leaves out the advanced features and that eye-popping QHD (2560 x 1440 pixel) display of its elder, premium sibling.

The R6007 looks just like the Find 7 from the front minus the gigantic 5.5 inch screen. On the back is a shiny back cover adds a premium feel to what already looks like a well-constructed device. On the front is a crisp 4.7 (1280 x720 pixel) inch display and a sufficient 2MP camera for video calls. On the back, is an 8MP primary snapper with an LED flash minus all the advanced features such as the Super Zoom feature from the Find 7's camera unit.

Inside the OPPO R6007 is a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is expandable. The handset runs Android version 4.3 (Jelly Bean) which is a bit disappointing, but comes topped with OPPO’s custom Color OS skin to keep things refreshed.

Powering all of the above is a large 2,140 mAh battery unit. The handset has been announced in black and white only in China for 1799 Chinese yuan (approx. Rs 17,000), with no signs of international availability in the near future.
