Google Rolls Out New Features For Its Google Camera App For Android
The update lets users set timers, take snaps while shooting video, choose between 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios and adds new panorama modes.
Google has rolled out an update for its Google Camera app for Android, adding features such as the ability to set a timer, take snaps while shooting a video, and much more. While the update has been made official on the Android G+ page, it doesn't seem to be out in India as of yet.
Users can now choose to take a photo with either a three-second or a ten-second delay. Also the update adds the ability to snap photos while shooting a video. It should be pointed out that both these features were available earlier, and have been added back with the update.
Apart from these two functionalities being brought back, Google also says you can now “capture landscape scenes with your left-hand” which is a wholly new option. The app also lets users choose between shooting in 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios, and also adds two new panorama picture modes – wide angle and fish eye.
