Celebrating 10 Million Users, Any.Do Launches Its First Web App
The company plans to convert Any.do into a cross-platform application.
The team at Any.do has been celebrating 10 million users from its successful to-do app. So much so, that the company has now decided to take the planning app to the web at web.any.do. As of now the web app exists in beta; but one can sign up with their email ID and get a pass code for accessing the same.
The Any.do now reminds us of Evernote’s move from desktop and mobile to a web app which took place in 2011. Web.any.do will give you a broader perspective to completing and planning your tasks quicker. There are now two modes — Focus and Planning.
While the Focus mode shows upcoming tasks in a single folder view, Planning mode displays the same tasks in multiple folders allowing you to juggle and decide what goes where. Also included is the Chrome app that will work side by side, making the process of adding tasks and accessing the web app a lot easier.
Basically, web.any.do compliments the mobile app and vice versa. Using any one would be limiting and would not allow you to use the service to full potential. With a Cal app recently released a few months ago, the company plans to expand its portfolio of mobile apps as well by launching a Mail and Memo app soon.
