LG G3 Presentation Slides leak Out; Here Are The Specifications

The Quad HD display sporting device indeed has Samsung’s finest in its sights.

The final presentation slides of the LG G3 have leaked out giving LG fans and potential buyers details which they have been waiting for long time. Someone somehow managed to sneak in during a private presentation of LG’s soon to be announced flagship, and clicked pictures of the important slides.

So without further delay here we go!

The slides clearly reveal the complete specifications of the LG G3 along with the new hardware and software features. The device is now confirmed to come with an eye-popping, 5.5 inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixel) IPS LCD display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device will run Android KitKat version 4.4.2 and sport a 13MP primary snapper along with a 2.1MP front-facing one.

The device in the presentation was apparently the Korean version of the LG G3 meaning that there will be a couple of minor changes when it is launched in its international guise. This brings us to the storage which as per the slide and the source, points to fixed 32GB of internal memory. May be the international version of the LG G3 will come with expandable memory since most of the other flagships today offer the same.

The battery of the device is said to be 3000mAh unit but somehow there is no sign of wireless charging in the slides.  What we also get to know of through the slides, is that LG is putting a powerful speaker on the back but sadly with will only sport one unit of the same unlike the twin speakers on the HTC One M8 and the Sony Xperia Z2.

Lastly, we finally get confirmation of the auto-focus assist system which is the mysterious black spec next to the camera. The system as we reported earlier is similar to the Nokia N82 (and many other xenon flash sporting devices from the 2000s) and will fire a red laser to assist the auto-focus and giving instantaneous focus locking while using the camera in low light. That coupled with the Optical Image Stabilisation will definitely put an end to blurry images. Also included in the slides is a new selfies feature that allows you click selfies of by simply clenching your hand into a fist.

So that’s about it, there’s only 6 whole days to go until the official global announcement. What do you think? Is the LG G3 worth the QHD display or will it bog down the Snapdragon 801 processor? Let us know in the comments below.
