First Render Of The HTC M8 Ace Leaks Online; Got The Curves Indeed
The plastic-clad sibling of the HTC One M8 seems to be a worthy competitor to the GALAXY S5.
The HTC (M8) Ace has finally appeared in a clear render showing off the curves that the company tweeted about recently. The image showed up on a Chinese news website called ifanr and gives us a clear picture about what the rumoured device would look like.
HTC recently tweeted a quote about curves from its twitter handle which obviously hinted at an upcoming handset. It’s only now that we know what the company was referring to — the curvy HTC M8 Ace.

The device is rumoured to be made entirely out of polycarbonate to bring down costs and will sport a unibody construction similar to the One X handset that was launched a few years ago. What the device will lack (thanks to the cost cutting) is the Duo Camera setup from the M8 which will be replaced by a simpler 8MP or 13MP unit.
There is no confirmed news about the internals just yet, but expect the handset to sport internal hardware similar to its premium sibling. That means, along with the quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz we should also expect a 5.5 inch Full HD display.
We always felt that the Samsung GALAXY S5 did not fit into the premium segment of smartphones thanks to its plasticy construction. If the HTC M8 Ace indeed launches with the above mentioned specifications, it would definitely compete with the Samsung GALAXY S5. This is more so because M8 Ace’s expected price is said to fall in the Rs 30,000 range delivering a lot more for a lot less.
