LG G3’s UI Leaks Once Again; Shows Its Android Wear-Like Quick Window Mode

Seems like LG has been working really hard on revamping its user interface.

LG G3’s new user interface screenshots have leaked once again and apparently they look very similar to something you have seen on Google’s Android Wear smartwatches. The upcoming LG flagship’s Quick Window Mode as it appears from the screenshots, seems to bring in a lot more functionality when compared to that on the Samsung Note 3 and even LG’s very own G2.

The Quick Window Mode as revealed by EvLeaks clearly shows that LG indeed means business and that it is not a gimmick. The screenshots reveal that you can not only launch apps, but also operate the built-in application directly from the cavity on your LG G3’s case.

There are the usual clock faces which come in a variety of themes, but you can even answer a call, check out a text message make calls by checking the recent calls from the call logs and much more. There is even a fitness app shown in the screenshots which supports the Quick Window Feature. The tiny window basically acts like a notification area and similar to the Note 3 will also allow you to launch the camera and click pictures as well.

Seems like LG has indeed been working really hard on changing the UI, and apart from making it sober also seems to have made it more practical. The LG G3 flagship smartphone is said to launch soon and is rumoured to sport a QHD (2560 x 1440) display which places it only second to the OPPO Find 7. The Find 7’s QHD variant called by the same name is yet to hit stores even though it was announced sometime back. So far the only Full HD model seems to be available, which could give LG the edge when it comes to sales.
