LG’s Entry-Level L35 Handset Gets Listed On Its Official Website
Launched at the Mobile World Congress, the handset has finally made its official appearance on LG’s German portal.
LG’s entry-level Android handset, the L35 will be has now been officially listed on LG’s German website. The handset seems to be a part of the new wave of affordable handsets that are powered by Android 4.4 KitKat.
LG had announced the L35 smartphone, along with the L40, L70 and the L90 earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The handset comes with a 3.2 inch display and is powered by a brisk Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. The handset comes with 512MB of RAM and will run Android KitKat version 4.4.2 out of the box. The camera is a 3MP primary unit and sports 4GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB; this should suffice when it comes to photo storage. Powering all of the above is a 1540 mAh battery which should provide sufficient power for a day considering the small display size.
Samsung had also announced a handset with a similar configuration called the GALAXY ACE Style. Both of these handsets run KitKat even though their RAM capacity is a smaller 512MB. For now it seems that manufacturers are indeed working with Google to build handsets with minimum bloatware, making them capable of running the latest version of Android with lower specifications. The LG L35 comes in black and white but there is currently no word on the price just yet.
