Flappy Bird Creator Teases Us With A Screenshot Of His Upcoming Game

States that his new game should help users forget about his previously addictive title, Flappy Bird.

 

It was just yesterday that Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen stated that his upcoming title would indeed not be as addictive as the original one. Today, the developer took to Twitter, tweeting the first screenshot of his upcoming unnamed game.

The screenshot clearly shows a person running and landing over building terraces which would kind of resemble Mario in a simpler 8-bit format but set in an urban landscape. The tweet that Dong Nguyen put out states the developer is indeed building the game to help users forget about agony-inducing Flappy Bird title… for now.

The developers older Flappy Bird title was insanely addictive and pretty-much led to a world-wide outburst of frustration and even a couple of videos in which phones were hammered to pieces. We guess that the developer, who even had an interview with the Rolling Stone magazine, may simply be creating the current game to calm fans down. May be there is a proper Flappy Bird instalment on the way which may be taking some time and will show up a couple of months later.
