Huawei Announces Its Ascend P7; Comes With An 8MP Front-Facing Camera
The premium-quality handset has been designed to redefine your smartphone experience.
Huawei has finally unveiled its successor to last year’s Ascend P6, the Ascend P7. The handset sports a premium design and comes with an equally premium price tag to go with the same. It features top-notch connectivity options all of which comes packaged into a slim 6.5mm thin construction which Huawei claims is the slimmest 4G smartphone in world.
The Huawei Ascend P7 has clearly been created keeping design and aesthetics in mind.
"Huawei Ascend P7 was inspired by the natural curves of a water droplet which instils the phone with a sense of natural purity, and also gives users a more comfortable grip," said JoonSuh Kim, Mobile Device Vice President, Consumer Experience Design Center, Huawei Consumer BG. "It took us months of extensive design refinements to achieve this excellent balance of form and function."
They have certainly put in nothing but the best when it comes to hardware as well. On the outside you will find a large 5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) display with a jaw-dropping 445ppi. The handset also comes with a 13MP Sony sensor with an f/2.0 aperture which delivers stunning image quality even in low-light.
The device is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core Huawei Kirin 910T processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The handset was indeed built for the selfie-conscious crowd as the Ascend P7 comes with a large 8MP camera sensor on the front of the device. Yes, you heard it right; one can even take panoramic selfie shots of themselves with the built-in software. The camera even features up to 10 levels of automatic facial enhancement stops in beauty mode.
The device comes with a 2500mAh battery which considering the 5 inch screen should make it a good combination, delivering a day of battery life on a single charge.
All of the above comes tightly packed into a slim 6.5mm thin body that has been constructed out of metal and glass and comes in black, white and pink finishes. The handset comes loaded with Android KitKat and is said to go on sale in May globally for a retail price of 449 euros (approx. Rs 38,000).
