Xiaomi Mi-3S Leaks; To Sport A Snapdragon 801 Processor
Leaked design looks a lot similar to the Nokia Lumia 930.

Live Images of Xiaomi Mi-3S have finally leaked and it seems that the Chinese smartphone maker has switched from an all aluminium design to a plastic and aluminium mix. The industrial looking design will certainly sport some top notch construction which Xiaomi is known for in the Chinese market.
Stepping away from its previous flagship, the Mi 3, the company now seems to have gone in for a more industrial design with it upcoming handset. From the leaked images, the design looks a lot similar to Nokia’s Lumia 930, which has yet to be launched worldwide. There seems to a mix of glass, aluminium and plastic (on the back) which will be good when it comes to long-term durability.
The handset is rumoured to sport a Snapdragon 801 which is a standard for flagships this year along with 5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) display. The processor is said to be clocked at 2.5GHz and will be coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset will come in a variety of colours (similar to its predecessor) and will come in 16GB and 32GB variants. All of this will be powered by Android’s latest version, KitKat and is rumoured to come with a $320 price tag which is approximately Rs 20,000.
If you have not heard of Xiaomi, the company is based in China and works with a philosophy that is based on building and selling quality handsets at a lower price. These handsets bring to users a number of services that have been developed over the years by Xiaomi. So the idea here is to build a quality handset and make profits off the services that come bundled, which is partially similar to Apple.
The company that sells a record breaking number of handsets in its home market China, has recently expanded handset availability to Singapore. Xiaomi now plans to expand its handset and service availability to developing markets as well, which include India, Brazil, Russia, and Mexico this year.
