Live Images Of The LG G3’s Back Leak Once Again

The mysterious black sensor makes an appearance for the second time.

Serial Twitter leaker @EvLeaks has once again taken to the social network to leak something new. Last time around he leaked the rendered images of the LG G3’s Korean sibling. This time around, it is a live image of the LG G3 itself; even if it is just the backside of the device.

The controversial back of the LG G3 was leaked just a few days ago in a not so clear image with some notes in the background. This time around EvLeaks brings to us a clear live close up image of the LG G3.

The image shows the camera lens and the new flattened power/unlock button with the volume rocker that LG is famous for. On the right side of the camera lens is what seems to be a dual tone LED flash, but the black dot on the left still remains a mystery. As pointed out the last time, this could be used for a variety of purposes. LG may have planned some sort of a heart rate monitor like Samsung GALAXY S5 or it may just be an infrared sensor to help control some new 4K LG TV’s. It could also be some sort of auto focus assist system that would help the camera focus quicker.

From what we know so far, the LG G3 is rumoured to sport a 5.5 inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixel)display (there may be a Full HD one as well) powered by  a Snapdragon 801 SoC along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Powering the optically stabilised lens and the rest of the internals will be a hefty 3000mAh battery unit. Moreover, there could be also two versions of the device as mentioned above with the only difference being the pixel density and the RAM size.

The LG G3 has been the most talked about unannounced phone in the market today. That is clearly because every other manufacturer has already announced their flagship devices for this year; some of which have already made it to the store shelves. LG however seems to have sneakily waited for everyone to display their ideas and plans to make its move soon (hopefully before it’s too late to catch up).
