Impossible Road Finally Comes To Android
Addictive yet extremely tough to master, Impossible Road comes to Android with some quirks.
It’s addictive, tough and you simply will want to throw away your phone away in frustration. Such are the reactions of the gamers whom we handed the game over to. We are talking about Impossible Road a game that has been on iOS for almost a year and now finally made its way on to the Play Store.
The game certainly looks stunning and smartly designed while keeping minimalist design in mind. This is partially because the one man team who designed it is an artist as well. Gameplay is fairly simple. You have ball in front of you which you have to guide on a long never ending contorted road. Well, it’s not that simple. The road does not have any rails or raised edges meaning that the ball (or “The Vessel” as it is called) will slide off the edge, ending your game. To prevent just that, you are given the “privilege” to steer the ball by tapping the right and left sides of your screen. And this can get pretty tough as you cross levels. The ball will even bounce off road and even let you jump to the path below if you have to guts to do the same.
Sadly though, the game comes with its defects, and some of them do matter. If you were wondering, NO; it does not have tilt controls. This is annoying because tilt control features in almost every possible game you can think of these days. Also for those of you with on-screen navigation; get ready to take those sudden trips to your home screen thanks again to the touch controls. Also if you happen to be one of those who plays games on both platforms (Android and iOS) you will find a difference in the way the vessel bounces as well.
All-in-all a great game for the casual gamer but a little on the serious side of things.
