NEC Reveals A Waterproof Droid
Will set apps on fire with its top-notch specs.

NEC is set to launch a promising smartphone, dubbed as the MEDIAS ES N-05D. The device running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) is impressively thin, and can also withstand water.
As reports suggest, the phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, and has 1 GB RAM. Its 4.3" LCD screen has pixel dimensions of 1280x720. Other bells and whistles include an 8 MP camera, 4 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, infrared, digital TV-tuner, and a 1400 mAh battery. What's more, all of it is packed in a 6.7 mm thin body weighing just 110 grammes.
The N-05D will be made available on Japan's NTT Docomo network later this month or early next month. There's no word on its availability outside Japan as of now. However, Android fans in India will definitely want this phone to arrive in our country too.
